IOW: PART OF HAMPTON ROADS
Isle of Wight County is located on the western edge of the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, the fifth largest Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) in the Southeast U.S., and the second largest between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta with over 1.6 million residents. Isle of Wight enjoys a strategic location between Richmond and thriving southeastern Virginia giving us access to the bustling market and intermodal transportation centers of Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Newport News. Nearly two million people live within an hour’s drive, and because of our central location on the mid-Atlantic coast, we’re within a day’s drive of more than half of the entire US population.
